I have always loved animals and thankfully they have loved me in return. I've just started my business in February 2014 and am in the process of having Wag The Tail-Chicago incorporated. We are a bonded and insured business through Pet Sitters Associates. Wag The Tail-Chicago has, in a very short time, developed a reputation for providing reliable, compassionate, specialized pet care services at affordable rates. I am devoted to helping animals in need and have years of experience in the animal rescue community, along with dog walking responsibilities over the last 3+ years. My own animal family includes my dog, Cheeto, and my cat, Salem. I understand that entrusting the care of your beloved pet to someone else can be stressful. Here at Wag The Tail-Chicago, I treat every dog and cat the way I would want my own pets to be treated; that is, as a cherished member of the family.

While taking your dog on a walk, they have my undivided attention. I'm not going to be fumbling with my cellphone or listening to music. I am trained in Canine Good Citizen. When starting with a new client, I like to meet with you first and also meet the pet. Go over expectations, where I may find treats, harness/collar, lead, and the like. This way I feel comfortable with where to find items and be able to care for your family member properly. I will follow your instructions, which is why this is an important step in my process of being your pet's caregiver.

I employ either one of two to types of methods for informing you of how the walk went each day.
1. Daily log where I record the date and time, duty, and any notes during the walk.
2. Text message is sent, using the same information that I would provide in a written format.

I am currently serving in the following Chicago neighborhoods:

Lincoln Park - including West Depaul
North Center,
Roscoe Village, and
Uptown.
I reside and have my business located in the East Lakeview neighborhood.
