I worked for visiting angels in Worcester for a short period of time after moving to the area I had worked for visiting Angels out of Boston and the boss was wonderful and it was a great experience between client, family, and owner and me
I found the list agency. I think it was about right before the pandemic and I was given clients who are not safe who are much larger than me and who were aggressive not just one family like that but another family were two grown men lived with their mother and physically fought and tried to sell me marijuana And the night before the pandemic that was my next job I called Sunday night of the pandemic beginning to say that I quit. I was 65 and I did not feel safe medically I was told I was the only person to quit during the pandemic and that I was either going to be fired or I should quit right now , what was the answer I quit the agency was awful. The clients were not suited for that kind of care. I found them to be dangerous and some of them just had me cleaning or putting their clothes away. It was the worst of my elder Care and I have waited this time to tell you because I just had to get it off my chest I was also with a client and she asked me to remove something from an area which was filled with crosswires as I was doing as I was told the painting fell and was torn. I reported immediately and the owner, although I responded and insured was thinking that I should pay for it, it was not my fault was an accident. I found all the information I could give to the client as far as repair and he still hadn't gotten it and kind of forgot about it The client wanted me to sign a piece of paper saying I would pay for everything and I said no the company was insured and that would not be necessary. I did all the background work And and I left before I knew what the resolution was
