My name is Katie and I am a mother of 2 with a loving home, looking to provide care for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age. Available M-F 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m. (with some flexibility).
I have a safe, smoke free/pool free environment that will allow your child(ren) to learn, grow and explore. Everyday the child(ren) are exposed to the fundamental building blocks needed for preschool and beyond; phonics, ABC's, 123's, shapes, colors and positive behaviors like sharing. I also encourage and foster a free environment that allows the child(ren) to explore and build upon their social skills and creative thought processes.
We do watch movies, play pretend tea parties, read stories, wrestle the tickle monster, and sometimes spend time in time out. These are things that regularly happen at Ms Katie's house.
I do have 5 years experience in the child care industry and I am CPR/First Aid certified (my certification recently came due and I am going to become re-certified) and I have been fingerprinted.
