Village Hearth Childcare

Thank you so much for your interest in childcare with me! I am Early Childhood Teacher certified in the state of Colorado and current on my CPR and First Aid certifications, as well as working on my Infant Nursery Supervisor and Childcare Director's licences.

Right now I am staying home with my 3 month old son, Beorn, and would love to have your child join us in our daily activities! I plan activities that are age appropriate for each child.

I am open for care Monday through Saturday from 6 am- 6:30 pm, including holidays. Care includes breakfast, lunch and a snack, unless you prefer to bring your own food, of course! I also abide by and take seriously dietary restrictions, if they are present.

Pick up and drop off service can be negotiated if needs be and if it works with the scheduling of other children.

A bit about our home and daily life ... We try to go for a walk everyday and we are right next to the trail head for Coal Creek Trail. We do art, dance to music, cook together, sing together, and my personal favorite, spend time in the garden together. Screen time is very limited in our house, most days it isn't something we do at all.

I believe in working as a partnership with parents to provide the best care for their children as possible, as well as care for the children with respect towards the parent's wishes. I set clear boundaries and enforce them with kindness and love, as I believe every child should always feel accepted, even during the more difficult learning phases.
