Victoria's Home Day Care

I have taught Early Childhood in the public schools for 11 years. I have my masters degree in Early Childhood Education with my Special Education endorsement and my ELL certification. I am located in the Pleasant Hill neighborhood of Palatine. I have my own daughter who is going into first grade and a 2 year old son, who will be with me during the day. I would like to add 3-4 other children to our home daycare. We are a smoke-free home on a quiet cul-de-sac.

I charge $45/day, which includes meals/snacks. I prefer to work a teacher schedule and will be "closed" during the summer, 2 weeks at the holidays and 1 week at spring break (However, I can be available at a part time basis during those times. I prefer to be available to my children during those times but I am willing to take maybe 1 child here and there). My hours are 6:30 am-5:00pm.

I will have a specific schedule worked out for the children where we will be incorporating music time, story time, circle time activities (age-appropriate pre-academic learning time), lots of outdoor play in our fenced in yard as well as walks in the neighborhood, art activities and free play time.
