Hi my name is Vickie; I live in the Ocean Hills area formerly known as Sunset Hills of Oceanside, (off of Lake Blvd. near Lake Elementary and Madison Middle School.)
I have been in business for over 30 years (since 1985).
I currently have one full time opening for 1 year and up.
My children are grown and out of the house so my time is spent with the children I care for.
I offer a preschool curriculum for children over three years of age (the children take something home everyday). Of course they work on their colors, shapes, numbers, alphabet, phone number, how to spell their name, write it, and read.
Indoors: We have a kitchen area, dramatic play area, train station, and LEGO table.
Outdoors: Playhouse, water table, climbing structure, cars, and tricycles.
We have over a fifteen fruit trees on the property and plant a vegetable garden twice a year.
Meals served are breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack.
We have two parties a year. We have a party for Halloween and an Easter Egg Hunt. Parents and Grandparents are welcome and encouraged to attend our parties. At Christmas time we have a pajama day!

I am a member of the San Diego County Family Child Care Association (SDCFCCA) have been for over 30 years. I have over 400 hours in training (meetings, workshops and conferences). I take refresher courses annually.
I am a past board member and have volunteered for over 13 years for the SDCFCCA.

Low ratio 1-6" I am licensed for eight but only care for six children - Ages 0-5. Except when school is out. Then I care for two school age children, past clients.
