Veronica's In Home Daycare

My in home daycare is a very clean, organized, fun and safe environment where kids can grow and learn. I keep a small group to provide more one on one attention. We learn our letters, letter sounds, shapes, colors, numbers, sequencing, sorting and sight words in fun and creative way that works with each child's individual learning style. I believe that all children need an environment that entourages self-expression, where their feelings, emotions, thoughts and creativity are nurtured. We have circle time where the children can express their thoughts and feelings. And also encourage expression through art, music and play. Also I teach all of the children basic sign language so even at the littlest age they can still express themselves.
Our home is filled with fun toys and fun play areas and a play loft. Wooden blocks, Mega Blocks, Jumbo Legos & Lego Table, Waffle Blocks, Train Table, Story felt board, puppet theater w/puppets, play kitchen w/wooden food/pans, doll house, dolls, wooden puzzles, Interactive play mats, ride on toys, play tents, tunnels, wall panels, activites centers, dress up outfits (fireman/princess/ect) Ball pit balls, and SO much more.
We have a reading areas with tons of books and seating areas for the kids. We have a music time everyday where the kids either play music (musical instruments-flutes, pianos, drums, shakers, ect.), listen to music or dance and sing along to music.
Some of our events:
Pajama day-the kids where pajamas all day and we have nap time in tents.
Duck Day-we love to go to the park and feed the ducks.
I also love to give the kids as much time out doors as possible. We go on field trips, in our trusty daycare van, to the park to go on walks, have picnics and feed the ducks. And seasonal field trips around the holidays to places like the pumpkin patch, visiting reindeer and petting bunnies.
We have a large fenced in back yard. The daycare has a large play area for smaller children-with climbers, play houses, out door building toys, slides, swings, ect. And a playground for the older children with large swing set, wooden outdoor house, monkey bars, spinner panels, slide, picnic area and more.
I have worked with East Nashville families for the past 10 years and have loved every moment of it. When your child enrolls here they become part of our family and will be loved and nurtured.
