My focus is to provide an environment that enables children to reach their full potential. By providing quality individualized care that promotes growth and development. I keep a safe stimulating home where children look forward to each day. I believe this helps promote each child's social, emotional, physical and cognitive development.
My small group makes it possible for me to focus on individual needs. I like to encourage them to express themselves through language, art, music, and physical activity. When ready I start working toward Kindergarten readiness stills. This includes many skills such as using scissors, writing, phonics-reading, and handwriting. These are skills that take time to master, many times working parents are busy and have little time in the evening with their children. I use my time here with them to conquer as many skill as possible.
I love my job, I find joy in children running up to my door in the morning with big smiles. I have a open door policy and encourage commutation with parents about their child.
