**Our tutors travel between I-10/SR-83 (eastern boundary), Corona de Tucson (southern boundary), I-10/Rita Rd (western boundary) and Houghton/22nd (northern boundary) due to scheduling constraints.


About our tutors:

Jessica (Owner/Operator) graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and Special Education, K-12, with concentrations in Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities (formerly known as MR ), and Emotional/Behavioral Disabilities.

Jessica is familiar with basic sign language and has taught students how to use non-verbal communication systems, like Boardmaker, object schedules, and eye gaze. She understands how to handle allergies, seizures/medical emergencies, and behavioral problems. Jessica has worked with students with ADD/ADHD, Autism/Asperger s, ODD, and more. In her role as a Special Education Resource teacher in Virginia, she was the primary Language Arts and Math teacher for disabled students, K-5.

Jessica is a member of the National Tutoring Association. She has worked on state-wide councils, such as the I'm Determined Project, led by the Virginia Department of Education and Radford University.

Nieves graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Sciences degree in Life Sciences in 2010. Nieves tutored other college students, both in subject area content and study skills. After graduation, Nieves found a job as a paraprofessional instructor for the Issac Elementary District in Phoenix; this helped Nieves to discover that teaching was her passion.

Nieves is fluent in both English and Spanish. She will be primarily working with elementary school students at Vail Private Tutoring, but she is available for students in grades K-12 in Reading/Writing, Math and most Sciences.
