Urban Habitot is a home based child care program in the heart of Downtown Sacramento centered around play-based philosophies of learning. Our daily activities include a lot of time in nature and learning through real life experiences. Children will enjoy an abundance of love, reading, games, arts and crafts, imaginative play, walks to the local playground, as well as trips to museums and trails along the American River.
We feel drawn to the play-based, child centered philosophies of learning because we believe they best foster an environment that promotes imagination, respect, compassion, creativity and independence.
We are available Monday through Friday from 8 - 1 pm, plant-based diet snack and lunch provided.
