Universal Acceptance

Dear Parents and Guardians,
Universal Acceptance Child-care will be supporting your child through structured creative play with an educational and sensory component. All children are welcome at Universal Acceptance Child-care. We are especially concerned to provide a safe and welcoming program for students who may have special needs.
Breakfast will be provided before school. Understanding many families have children with special dietary needs and preferences, every accommodation will be made to offer meals that are nutritious and enjoyed by the students in the program. After school is also a time when food will be provided and likewise accommodations will be made.
Our program will be open to children ranging in ages from 3-5 in preschool and school-age children until the age of 12. Students with diagnosed special needs may attend our program until the age of 18. Families will have the option to choose their children's participation in the program in a range of times which include one night a week until 9pm and one weekend a month. An on-call option for child-care will also be available to participating families provided that all paperwork prior has been submitted. We intend to make this program responsive to the needs of families whose children may not be able to be accommodated in a more traditional childcare setting.
Our staff is formed by a group of passionate individuals who come from a diverse background. We have a special educational teacher on staff as well as the assistant director who has earned a M.S in English as a Second Language. The director has worked in the special needs field since graduation from high-school and is currently working on a M.S in behavioral psychology to better understand the needs families and individuals face.
