Hello! My name is Sara J. Owen, owner and primary caregiver at Under My Woof Petsitting in Portage, Michigan.

I was raised to treat animals with respect and have cared for many pets over the years. I have experience with horses, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils, and rats, but my favorite four-legged companions are dogs!

Under My Woof Petsitting began as a favor to friends needing someone to watch their dogs while they were away and grew into a professional service through word of mouth referrals. Your dog is a welcome guest in my home and will receive quality attention, interaction, and care. References are available by request.

Petsitting is my joy; I also work as a Media Research Analyst, Mon-Fri/8am-5pm. My 17 year old son is my secondary caregiver, available after 3pm. The office is less than 2 miles from my home, giving me flexibility to check on your dog throughout the day. My lunch hours are dedicated to outdoor playtime or a long neighborhood walk - a chance to stretch those legs and enjoy some fresh air! For safety and peace of mind, your dog will be comfortably crated when we are not home, but is otherwise allowed to explore the house and yard at will.
