About the business
Our mission at Tutors Squared is to provide elementary and middle school aged students with the resources and guidance needed in order to excel in their mathematical academics through 1 on 1 virtual tutoring.
Tutors include high school students who show academic excellence, succeed in rigorous classes, and work well with other students. All tutors maintain a 4.75 weighted GPA, have taken/passed a pre-calculus course, and will continue to further their mathematical knowledge.
Tutors Squared was founded by two high school students in the summer of 2020. Amidst the global COVID-19 pandemic, our founders noticed that many younger students have struggled to stay motivated during math class due to the change in school structure from in-person to online learning. Tutors Squared administers exceptional tutoring by helping students to reengage with their math work, and by providing an academically driven high school role model to look up to.
