Hello! I'm Samantha. I am excited to be seeking clients to participate in my online/ in-person tutoring business for children between the ages of 0-12 with and without disabilities! I specialize in teaching foundational reading and math skills to students performing below grade level and students with learning disabilities, ADHD, Autism, and emotional-behavioral disorders. I live in Oxford, FL (very close to The Villages, FL) and have a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction and a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary and Special Education (Grades K-8). Additionally, I am certified to teach early childhood special education to children with disabilities between 0-8 years old. I have 5+ years of elementary and special education teaching experience at a public school in Wisconsin. I have been tutoring students privately since 2019 virtually and in person. I recently moved to Oxford, FL and am looking to grow my tutoring business. I would be thrilled to work with your child!

When working with children, I always try to make learning fun while using evidence-based practices so that students make great progress and enjoy their time working with me. I use high quality curriculum materials and engaging activities to accelerate your child's growth. With children at the early childhood and Pre-K level, I often incorporate learning into play. I understand that the ultimate goal is for your child to no longer need a tutor and I am motivated to help your child grow and succeed!

I am available to tutor out of my home in Oxford, FL, your home near Oxford or The Villages, FL, or in a local public place such as the library or my neighborhood clubhouse library. I have set up a tutoring "classroom" in my home equipped with a whiteboard, table, games, and other tools that can be helpful to have on hand while tutoring.
