I have been a teacher for the past 12 years in the public school system and have taught a wide range of subjects and grade levels, but having just moved to the area, I haven't been able to secure placement in a classroom. Instead, I am seeking to provide before and after school care, as well as tutoring (if desired) for your child(ren). I have two of my own who are not yet school aged, so I am willing to take on 4 children (with my other two, that is a 1:6 ratio). I am looking for an opportunity to get your children fed (if needed) and onto the bus in the morning and I will watch them after school until you return home from work (I'm thinking 6 at the latest.).
I am willing to do this in my own home, or I can come to yours, provided it isn't too far away from the Dallas area.
I am also going to be home schooling my preschooler, so if you have a preschool-aged child, I am open to having your 3-4 year old join my home classroom 3 days a week from 8:30-11:30.
Prices:
Hourly rate is 15.00/hr for before and/or after school care
Pre-school: 85.00/week -all supplies provided by me.
