I have recently decided to take a break from nursing to stay home with my 2 year-old son and be able to be home with my 9 year-old daughter after school.
I am have a Bachelors of Science in Nursing from Clemson University, and have been working as a registered nurse since 2014. I have experience working on medical units, and have spent the brunt of my nursing career in the psychiatric/mental health field, to include a full year working full time with the child and adolescent psychiatric mental health patient population.
As a result of my nursing career, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge specific to child and adolescent development, teaching and learning interventions, as well as the ability to create individualized care plans to cater to specific learning needs. I am a Navy Veteran that believes in healthy balance of structure, compassion, and loving.
I am passionate about providing children with opportunities to develop self worth and accountability by offering suitable and choices.
