Hi!

My name is Tully and I m a mother to a seven year old little boy. I currently work in freelance graphic design remotely and after babysitting our neighbor s kids during the days lately (and loving it!) I thought I would post an ad!

Ideally, it would be for someone who works locally or needs an affordable daycare-like environment during the work week.

A little about my parenting/nannying style:

I m an artist and we re an artistic family so I fully believe in play learning, making a mess (don t worry- your little one won t return with stained clothes!), and having fun.

My son was very shy, especially when first starting daycare, and I found having something creative to focus on really helped him feel at ease and open up. We try to keep home activities interactive and always stress-free learning with paint, fun science projects, and crafts galore. We basically have a lakeshore learning store in our playroom haha so we try to keep all toys pretty educational. Don t get me wrong, we have every Disney movie known to man and Mario cart too, but we try to keep it to the bare minimum ;).We re also subscribers of abcmouse for fun online lessons and computer play.

We love to keep healthy and active! We are very fortunate to live next to a bunch of beautiful Irvine parks and have tons of balls, wagons, razors, skateboards, you name it! (we also love just bringing our picnic blankets and having a nice little yoga/lunch/exploring sesh ). Food-wise we keep it as homemade and healthy as possible, we don t have any food allergies but of course can cater to any of your food needs.

Per your permission, we also like to visit the animals at the shelter every now and then to feed the animals and just give them all a little company!

As I said, my son is 7 now and is at school during the day and typically has afterschool activities until 5:30. He is such a gentle spirit though and so amazing with the 18 month old and 3 year old that I currently watch, he loves playing big brother and helping them build legos and puzzles, etc!

I was once a single mama and I know what it feels like to wonder why you re even going to work when all of your paycheck is just going to childcare, to not get text updates, and not know if your child is getting the one on one attention they deserve. I d really like to give back and help someone out with affordable, good, trustworthy childcare now that I have the time at home :)
