1) Professional dog training for all breeds and behavior issues. Our training provides lasting results for those dog owners who need help stopping problem behaviors and getting dogs to listen every time. A Tug Dogs trainer will help you learn how to better handle your dog and help your dog learn new, positive habits like walking politely on leash, greeting new people/dogs successfully, and following commands like come and stay.
2) In home pet boarding for select dogs. We welcome dogs to come and stay with us who are social with people/dogs and well behaved at home. We have a beautiful 5 acre property located minutes from Sac airport (in Elverta) where your dog can play with friends, swim in the pool, enjoy the field, and live in our home with us.
3) Trainer's courses for those wanting to learn in depth about canine training and behavior. Tug Dogs owner Erin teaches those wanting to work as professional dog trainers, dog owners who want to greatly expand their knowledge, dog walkers and pet sitters who want to improve their skills, and rescue/shelter staff who want to gain canine behavior and training knowledge.

I was really struggling to be able to walk my dog without constant pulling, barking, and lunging when we encoutered other dogs. I had tried training before and it just didn't work. I was at my wits end when a friend told me about Tug Dogs.
After my FIRST lesson I saw a huge improvement in my dog's behavior. We actually went on a walk and she listened! I was totally blown away. After a few lessons I felt confident with my dog and knew just what to do to make walks enjoyable.
I never dreamed she would be able to go with mw to parks, the river, and to coffee shops but she is now that dog.
I am so thankful to Tug Dogs for making my and my dog's lives better. I highly recommend them to any dog owner who needs help.
