I am currently a stay-at-home mother of a 13 month old boy and am looking to care for one other child in my home, either full time or part time Monday through Friday with availability from 7:30am-6:00pm. With a ratio of 1:2 which is impossible to find in a daycare setting, your child will receive constant attention. A little bit about my approach: I believe in providing high quality childcare based on a mixture of both play-based learning and a structured environment which fosters language, musical, and creative development. I place great importance on the use of open ended, age appropriate toys that foster learning (blocks, legos, books, puppets, etc) and try to limit the use of electronic toys in my home. I also strongly encourage musical development through daily dance, sing-a-long, and the use of musical instruments.
