I am an elementary school teacher who is taking time off to stay home with my children. I have taught for 7 years in PWC VA and 1 year in New York. I have a Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education Birth-2nd grade and my Master's in Childhood Education K- 6th grade. I am looking to watch at least 2 other children in my home during the school year. I am looking for children from ages 6 months to 4 years old. I have a 3 year old daughter named Madison and a 2 month old daughter named Olivia. I will be following the school year calendar, so holidays/snow days I will be closed and no charge will be applied. I will be charging $200 a week per child and if you choose to do part time then we can discuss prices. I live in a townhouse in Bristow and I have a full, finished basement. I have a 4 year old German shepherd named Aila and a cat named Dizzle. Both are very friendly and use to kids. However, I plan to keep the children separate from the pets. I am looking to fill 2 spots starting at the end of August. I would love for you and your family to come over and meet my family. My plan is to have a daycare centered around the children and have age appropriate activities set up for them. I would also like to put some of my teaching expertise to good use.
