I have had the privilege of working with children for the last ten years in many capacities. Five years ago I began my journey to become a Colorado state certified teacher by beginning a Master's Degree in Elementary Education at Grand Canyon University which I completed in May 2009. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 5th grades in both public and charter school educational settings. This fall I look forward to teaching 4th grade in District 20. I am currently in progress to complete my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis in Instructional Leadership in May 2013.
