Train UP A Child is a DSS Registered (B+ rated) 2nd Shift home daycare designed to teach children Christian principles and values, while at the same time allowing them to learn academically.
In the bible Proverbs 22:6 says, Train up a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it . It is our belief that if our faith is real and we share it with children at a young age, no matter how far they may stray away as they mature and grow up, they re going to come back home to the foundation that was laid in their childhood. God s word will not return void.
We believe through creative, fun activities, while also incorporating the word of God (on each child s level), your child can receive the basic skills necessary for language, math, and social development.
At Train Up A Child our goal is to provide quality care and a loving home environment to every family that we serve. We also desire to equip and prepare young children to move forward to kindergarten and beyond. Our emphasis is community! We feel that we as a community need to work together in order that every child can continue to grow, learn and excel at the next level. The importance of working together extends to early childcare providers, schools and the home. Together we can equip every child.
There are activities such as reading, writing, recognition of letters, numbers, colors, shapes etc , as well as teachings from our good manners wall, arts and crafts, socializing with other children and help with homework for our school age children.
