I decided to post on Care.com because I was thinking about how I could help out people on their kid's snow days or emergency situation days, please consider me if you are in a bind, that's for sure. Or over the kids school vacation break, I am available.

I started out sitting for neighbors and enjoyed watching children so much, I have been watching them for 10 years. I am known by many, people as "the neighborhood sitter".

I have children, 4, 7, 9, and 11 years old. They are just awesome and I adore the kids that I watch. I watch kids of all ages, before school, during the day and after school, full time and part time.

I like to save the parents a buck or two rather than going to the centers and their kids come away with skills galore. We work on all sorts of academic skills. I ask the parents what they would like me to focus on with them on.

I am dependable, only "backed out" less than a handful of times in 10 years for illness or a death in the family.

I don't recall a child not enjoying coming to our home, we always have a great time. I have been blessed with having incredibly sweet, gentle children in my care for all of these years who care for each other and get along well.

I am also a certified by the state as a Respite Provider, so have various certifications including First Aid and CPR and work with children/adults with disabilities.

We recently moved one neighborhood over to a slightly larger home to accommodate our kids who are growing up so quickly. We now have a little more space for everyone, a spectacular toy room set up, a pretty, kid friendly backyard and I am thrilled to share it all with others.

I am looking to fill 2 spaces with 2 kids who are a good age to travel around with. My kids will be off in the summer and it would be great to be able to take very local "field trips" to see things, do things and have a super fun summer break.
