Hello, my name is Tracey and I am an outstanding caregiver with over 19 years of professional child care experience. I am trustworthy, loving, responsible, and knowledgeable in early childhood development. I have worked with over 25 newborns to school age children as both a professional nanny and as the owner of a successful in home daycare. I am a graduate of RIT with my Bachelor's Degree in Social Work and a background in fine arts.
If you are looking for a loving and calm home environment for your little one while you are at work then Tracey's Daycare may be a perfect fit for you. I run a very small in home daycare with an emphasis on early learning and tons of loving one to one attention. Nutritious meals and snacks are provided. I have experience working with premature infants, severe food allergies, asthma, reflux, and meal planning for dietary restrictions. I am Red Cross certified in infant/child CPR and First Aid.
Tracey's Daycare is located in a quiet city neighborhood close to Uof R and Strong Hospital. We have a beautiful, smoke free, and child proofed home. There is a fantastic playroom full of windows, a fenced backyard with lots of toys, separate sleeping areas for children, and a local library and park we visit frequently.
Children in my care are supported and encouraged at each developmental stage. Wonderful crafts, reading, music and dance, educational games and toys, physical activities and outside play time and walks are incorporated into our days. My policy is "one infant at a time" and I have only one full time infant spot. Parents can be assured that your baby will receive the hands on care and immediate attention they need and deserve.
I offer high quality care at reasonable rates. I understand and respect that leaving your child with someone else is one of the hardest decisions any parent will make. Communication is key in any successful childcare relationship. I operate with an open door policy at my daycare and welcome and encourage parent input and participation.
