Tots By The Bay

We are a small private in home daycare licensed by the State of New York. It is more of a preschool learning environment with the flexibility of a daycare. Our philosophy is more of a home away from home. The most important thing to a parent is knowing that your child is safe and happy. This is where we come into play. Our approach is to create an atmosphere where the child is learning through creativity and exploring the world around them.

We will be introducing colors, numbers, music, art and as well as early development sports. We have a garden on the premises where the children will be able to plant and maintain flowers, vegetables and fruits. We hope to give the children an understanding of how these foods are grown. We will then take our vegetables and fruits and have them as as a snack or use them in our baking class.

Through our nurturing program the children will learn responsibility and sharing by caring for our animals. Animal interaction will be a daily part of our schedule. Children will be able to feed & encouraged to care for them as well. Our animals include "Fiji" a Holland Lop Rabbit, "Bubba" a Tree Frog, "Tikal" a Betta fish & "Marley" our pocket pooch white Maltese.
