Dr. Payne has a doctorate in clinical psychology and many years experience in clinical psychology, developmental psychology, and vocational psychology. She and her associates also understand the many, many nuances of spectrum disorders, learning disorders, and mood disorders in young people.
Dr. Payne has a track record of helping individuals at all phases of development, from teens to seniors, find out what is meaningful to them and ways to apply those interests at school and at work.
She also works in collaboration with state agencies to access funds, technology training and equipment, job developers, and other helpful programs.
Dr. Payne has been Clinical Supervisor at the San Diego Center for the Blind for the last several years. She also works closely with Child Welfare Services in San Diego, and the Department of Rehabilitation throughout the county.
