Tot Spot Kids Childcare

Hello! My name is Crystal and I am 31 years old. I am the middle child of 11, in a blended family. I have five brothers and five sisters, as well as many nieces and nephews all under the age of five. I have always been a very active person and enjoy many physical activities. These would include, but are not limited to dance (mainly hip hop and jazz), gymnastics, cheer, football, baseball, volleyball and basketball. While I am not particularly excellent at any of these, I know enough to have a great time! I also enjoy more artistic things such as photography, scrap-booking, arts and crafts, baking, reading and creating stories and coloring. I am a firm believer in little to no TV, no matter what the age, I myself maybe watch an hour or two of TV a week and would much rather be doing something that involves mental stimulation rather than just sitting. I am actively involved in the world of early childhood education and have my own in-home day care for children, birth to 5. I am 30 credits shy of my BA in Early Childhood Education, and am actively pursuing finishing my degree. I have worked in numerous child care centers as well as working as a nanny and babysitter. All work combined, I have been baby-sitting since I was 12 years old, which gives me a total of 19 years of experience. My favorite age group to work with is children birth to 3 as that is the group I have had the most experience with.

My daycare is Tot Spot Kids and we follow the eco-healthy certification standards, but have not had a reviewer come out to re-certify us. We primarily use organic meals and supply 2 meals and 2 snacks per day. All children in diapers are in cloth diapers during the day, parents of course are allowed to supply disposables as well.
