Tolar Small Steps Childcare & Early Learning Center, Llc

Small Steps Childcare is owned and operated by David & Tara Lynch. In 2010 Tara had a dream to start a licensed home childcare program and now that dream has evolved into two licensed centers serving up to 150 children. Small Steps Tolar was opened in 2018 and quickly was able to serve many children in the community and surrounding areas. We realized there was a need for our program to be in multiple locations to be able to serve multiple families and so we opened Small Steps Granbury in November of 2020. Tara has a background in early childhood education as well as her child development associates and multiple childcare administrator certifications. David has a childcare administrators license as well. More importantly than any of our educational background, we are parents of 4 children. All 4 have been in some sort of childcare program throughout the years. We know what quality child care is and we know what quality of care we would want for our own children. And that high quality care is what we hope to continue to bring to our community through our childcare programs. The owners are on site daily and are actively involved in the childcare programs at both locations.
