Tir Na Nog Childcare is inspired by the enchanting Irish folklore of “The Land of the Young,” a mythical place where happiness, youthfulness, and endless joy thrive. In this magical land, no one ever grows old, and beauty and wonder are boundless.

At Tir Na Nog Childcare, we are dedicated to creating a true home-away-from-home for every child. Our warm, nurturing environment is designed to ensure that each child feels comfortable and loved while in our care. We focus on building strong, caring relationships and providing a familiar, supportive space where children can relax, explore, and grow with confidence, knowing they are valued and cared for just like they would be at home.

Since 2003, Tir Na Nog Childcare has been a trusted foundation of care and education in our community. After 19 wonderful years at our original location, we embarked on a new chapter in August 2022, moving into a fresh space while preserving the same comforting, home-like atmosphere that our families cherish.

At our center, we embrace the Reggio Emilia approach, focusing on creating a classroom environment where children can lead their learning journey. This open-ended curriculum is designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and exploration, allowing each child to shape their experiences and discover the world around them in a meaningful way. The classroom becomes a space that adapts to the children’s interests, fostering a sense of ownership and joy in learning.

We have 6 thoughtfully designed classrooms that use neutral tones to allow each child’s creativity to bring color and life to the environment. At Tir Na Nog, our mission is to ensure every child feels safe, loved, and nurtured. Helping children grow and develop in all areas of life is our passion and purpose.

We follow the Massachusetts state guidelines for classifying age groups to ensure that each child receives care and education tailored to their developmental stage:

Infants: 8 weeks to 15 months old
Toddlers: 15 months to 2.9 years old
Preschool/Pre-K: 2.9 years to 6 years old

Each group benefits from a curriculum that nurtures growth and development in a safe and supportive environment.
