Tiny Hearts In-home Daycare

Our children are our hearts, our tiny hearts. They are the most important people in our lives and should be treated with love, care, respect, and dignity. At Tiny Hearts Daycare we strive to not only help your child grow but to flourish and thrive. We are an in-home daycare. Through our small size we are able to offer more personalized care for your child. The max number of kids on any given day is 6 including my own. They will gain socialization, creativity, and age-appropriate learning through hands-on play. We are a smoke free household and have no indoor pets. We do have a dog outside in our fenced yard but he will be in a crate when the children go out.
Daily Routine: On a typical day we will eat breakfast, do some light aerobics/stretching/outdoor time, play, eat lunch, story time, nap, play, do a learning activity/craft, then cleanup and winding down before going home.
Learning activities are geared to be age-appropriate, engaging, and fun. Teaching anything from how to brush your teeth to letters, numbers, and colors to culinary explorations. Younger babies who are not quite pre-school aged will engage in tactile play, tummy-time, attention stimulation, as well as working on developmental milestones. I allow them to lead the way in learning and tell me what they are ready for and when.
About Me: My name is Kasey Wooden. I'm CPR Certified & a Certified Nurse Assistant. I'm a wife and mom to two sweet little boys. Elijah is 3 years old and Liam is 9 months old. They are my pride and joy! I sold tile for 10 years then decided to pursue my healthcare dreams. I became a CNA at a nursing home and started taking some pre-requisites to nursing school at ETSU. Since Liam was born I have been a stay-at-home mom and I am LOVING it! I genuinely enjoy being around children! They are such adorably interesting souls and it is so exciting to see the wonder in their eyes as they learn and grow! I decided to put off nursing school and start an in-home daycare to help other families. I know how nerve-wracking it is to pick a trustworthy and reliable caregiver for your little ones. I want to be that for others. Not only do I enjoy engaging with children in play activities, I enjoy teaching, encouraging, and helping them grow. I believe strongly in positive reinforcement and every child has the potential to be a genius!
