Time To Shine Preschool

Time to Shine Preschool is a half-day academic preschool in the Cary/Apex area. Our goal is to instill a love of learning in each of our students through a challenging curriculum, fun activities, and plenty of praise!

At Time to Shine Preschool, we are able to fully prepare children for kindergarten and beyond by giving them a strongly academic, teacher-led education while maintaining a well-rounded, creative, and fun experience every day. We strive daily to encourage a love of learning in each of our students.

You'll find the following activities at Time to Shine:

Phonics-based language arts-lessons comprised of worksheets, games, and hands-on activities, with most of our pre-k students reading by graduation

Math-lessons comprised of worksheets, games, and hands-on activities

Art-projects designed to encourage creativity while strengthening fine motor skills

Music and Dancing-fun songs and movements to build gross motor skills and coordination

Science-weekly lessons and fun experiments

Spanish-simple songs to teach basics such as greetings, colors, numbers, and more

Free Play-daily play centers with a variety of toys to encourage imagination, social skills, leadership, and conflict resolution

Games-exciting games with winning and losing to encourage teamwork, positive attitudes, and good sportsmanship

Show & Tell-opportunity to build public speaking skills and self-confidence
