Tia Vogelgesang

Hello! My name is Tia, and I am 28 years old with a son named Easton, who is 5 months old, and married to my husband, Luke, who is an electrician. We moved to Hudson in June of 2018 from Stillwater MN and so far we have loved it here! I have been a nanny for the last 5 years and before that I was a preschool teacher for 3 years at two different centers in Woodbury, MN. I have my AA degree with an emphasis in early childhood with many other courses in teaching because I had bounced back and forth between going to school for early childhood and elementary education! Ultimately I settled on nannying because I absolutely loved it. I was with my first nanny family that had 3 children for 2 years, and my most recent nanny family I have been with for almost 3.5 years and they have 4 children. As much as I love nannying, I always knew that once I had my own children I wanted to start a daycare in my home and that time has come! I want to provide children with a loving, educational, fun, and caring environment that they can grow and excel in. I find feeding children foods that are healthy, clean, homemade, and organic is so important. I also keep my home as non toxic as possible and use non toxic cleaning products and soaps. The daycare play area will be set up in our basement and there will be a nap room on our main level. The children will eat and do crafts in our kitchen and have outside time in our backyard that is fenced with a play set. We have a security system that will be turned on during the day and cameras will be installed in the basement and nap room so that I can see the children at all times no matter what! I will offer a schedule and routine for the children and we will do things like; educational activities, art projects, free play, group time, stories, and much more! I am hoping to start my daycare by the end of fall or early winter.
