Thirsty Thinkers is a FL DCF registered, home-based preschool where children are "nourishing their unquenchable thirst for knowledge". It is strictly a preschool, with half day classes offered for children ages 3-5. Benefits of a home-based preschool include: young children transition easily into a home-like preschool setting; our home provides a safe, clean and caring environment that promotes learning; small class sizes allow for lots of 1-1 time with the teacher.

Preschool is not just a place to learn colors, shapes, alphabet and numbers. Preschool is so much more than that, and at Thirsty Thinkers we strive to help your whole child's development: Social, Emotional, Cognitive, and Physical. Our curriculum features a balance of teacher-directed and child-initiated hands-on activities to accomplish these goals. Your child will discover a new theme every week (like dinosaurs, kangaroos, or cooking) and enjoy arts & crafts, stories, music, snacks, & more!

Each preschool year runs a full 10 months from mid August-early June. We follow the Orange County Public School District schedule to aid families with older children in their vacation plans. So, when OCPS is out, so are we!

We have several classes to meet your needs:
3-4 Years Old: This class meets 2 days/week (T_TH). You can choose from our morning class which meets from 8:30a.m. -11:30a.m., or our afternoon class which meets from 12:00p.m.-3:00p.m.
4-5 Years Old (Pre-K): This class meets 3 days/week (M_W_F). You can choose from our morning class which meets from 8:30a.m. -11:30a.m., or our afternoon class which meets from 12:00p.m.-3:00p.m.

Snack will be provided. We believe that the foods we eat directly affect our behavior and ability to learn. Therefore, we strive to provide healthy, nutritious snacks that are mostly organic and/or natural, free from harmful chemicals and pesticides, and with no added sugars or high fructose corn syrup.

Our program is affordable! A yearly, non-refundable registration fee of $50-2 day/wk classes or $75-3 day/wk classes reserves your child's spot and pays for all of your child's school supplies. Most field trips cost under $5 and your family is encouraged to come! Your child will also receive a T-shirt, end-or-year DVD and memory book at no additional charge.
