We have two dogs, Harlow (1 1/2) Banjo (7 months), this was our first time boarding them. We were extremely nervous to leave them for 5 days, especially because Banjo is often shy and gets scared around other dogs.
When we dropped them off the staff could tell we were very nervous. They continually reassured us that our dogs would be well taken care of. Their room was not empty yet when we arrived (it was the holidays so they were very busy), but they still gave us a tour and allowed our girls to hang out in the play room until their room was ready. Less than two hours after we dropped them off, we received a phone call letting us know they were doing great. Not only did they reassure us that Harlow and Banjo were doing well, they also sent pictures of their room set up and videos of them playing. Knowing our girls were being loved and cared for allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our vacation.
Throughout the week the Facebook page was updated with pictures and videos of Harlow, Banjo, and all their new friends! The staff was accommodating to our travel schedule. even though it was outside of their normal pick-up hours. Their bag was packed and the staff had even washed and folded their blankets!
Harlow and Banjo clearly had a great time at The Woods and were exhausted from all the play time they had throughout the week! Banjo enjoyed the dogs and staff so much that she is less shy than she was just a week ago!! Thank you for loving and caring for our babies, we will never board them anywhere but The Woods!!
