I am a PA certified 4-8 Math Teacher with 13 years of experience teaching math at the 4th-grade level through high school Geometry in North Carolina, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. Aside from math expertise and an immense amount of patience, working with adolescents has granted me a vast toolkit for helping students learn, self-advocate, and self-manage. My daily check-ins will teach and reinforce executive functioning skills. (For those without an education degree, that is just fancy lingo for helping kids that struggle with organizing and prioritizing daily tasks, i.e. most kids :) ). I can help your child get organized, make a plan to stay focused, and complete assignments on time.
