"The Social" is a brand new Adult Day Care Center located on Babcock Street in Palm Bay. It has been transformed from doctor offices to a beautiful entertainment center. Our hours are 6am-6pm, Monday through Friday with the goals of expanding to evening, weekend and 24/7 as determined by the needs of the community. We have a busy activity schedule including Coffee Talk, daily exercise, Brain Games, arts & crafts, sporting games, BINGO and Happy Hour! For those that enjoy individual pasttimes, there arealternative options such as relaxing in a living room setting for reading, listening to music/old radio shows, watching documentaries/films or enjoying other forms of recreation like dominoes, card games or jigsaw puzzles. We want you to feel at home when you're here! Respite care for family caregivers, increased supervision and socialization for seniors and a reduced cost for those requiring homecare are the primary benefits The Social Day Care & Entertainment center. A certified staff is on hand at all times to tend to a full range of physical needs. Lunches are delivered at noon, with snacks and hydration served morning and afternoon. Our goal is to make the Participants and their loved ones feel comfortable and at ease by providing a safe and engaging atmosphere while in our care. In addition to our private pay options (which are lower than the local competition) we have specials that will be running through our initial Grand Opening period. Our May special is BOGO - buy a week,get a week...buy a month, get a month, etc. Seniors with military or long term care benefits may qualify for our center through those avenues as well. For those that are in need of assistance, we have begun accepting people who qualify for Medicaid at no cost to them while our application is being processed. Also, we have opened our center up to folks that have private caregivers at no cost long as their caregiver stays with them.
