The Robin's Nest

The Robin's Nest is a NYS OCFS licensed family daycare located on 5 beautiful acres of mixed forest and open space. The daycare area is separate from the family's living space to maximize freedom of play and opportunities to learn. Anastasia, the care provider, has her bachelors degree from Green Mountain College in Art and Outdoor Education with experience working as a counselor and instructor for ACA Camp Nokomis as well as an interpreter (nature teacher) for the Vermont State Parks. The daycare focuses on providing children with a loving, creative place where they can play, explore, and learn naturally. Outside play happens just about every day in the form of adventure walks, helping in the gardens, hunting for bugs, adding to our fairy village, exploring a nearby pond, investigating sap lines, and the list goes on and on. When it comes to indoor time, there is plenty of time for free play, art projects, science experiments, block building, reading time, and games to help practice numbers, letters, sharing, and taking turns. Anastasia takes pride in offering high quality care with flexible hours at an affordable price. Parents provide children with meals and the daycare provides healthy morning and afternoon snacks- mostly fresh fruits and veggies. Stop by for a visit and see what we're all about!
