About
The Red Door Daycare is a small in-home daycare that was created with the purpose of offering loving, intimate care to children. My name is Minda and I am the owner of this in-home care center. I am also a wife, a certified teacher, and most importantly a mom. My passion in starting this in-home daycare stems from the feelings I once had when leaving my babies while I went to work. My goal is to provide a kind of care and service that gives the parents a peace of mind while they are away. I am limiting my daycare to 2 full time children or 1 full time child and an after school student. I feel this is necessary in creating an intimate atmosphere where I can give each child (including my own) the kind of attention they need and deserve. I have a son that is 16 months and a daughter who is 3. My son will be enrolled full time and my daughter will be present half day. I am different from most in home daycare facilities because I will be able to provide field trip experiences such as library visits, zoo trips, science museum outings, park play dates, and many more fun filled outings. I am currently working towards getting licensed by DHS. I plan to be available for August 2014.
