About
The Rainbow School is a privately owned preschool and child care center serving Issaquah and its surrounding communities since 1991 in the family-friendly neighborhood of Klahanie. Our facility offers cheerful classrooms, three private playgrounds, and a full-sized gymnasium to chase away rainy-day blues. Serving children six weeks of age through grade 3, we offer preschool and child care for all, providing stable home rooms and class groups for each age.
Our days are comprised of a mix of structured activity focusing on pre-academics and play. As children progress through our classrooms increasingly more sophisticated concepts are introduced in weekly lesson plans. From bibs to books, our students are well-prepared for their entrance into kindergarten. We want to provide a homey atmosphere for children where they feel Rainbow is a "fun place to be" rather than a place "where they have to be."
Effective Sept. '24, we are expanding our program to include a half-day Pre-K Program for a limited number of students which will include bus transportation from your home to and from School. More information regarding this program will be added at a later time.
