About
Jamésa is a mother of 6 who has always had a love for the Montessori style of teaching. Realizing there was a lack of safe spaces for children to be left when healthy separation is needed, as well as being a lover of children's mental health and wellness, birthed the idea of The Play Place.
The Play Place is an in-home play and educational experience for children ages 3-8. Our intimate setting provides one on one attention, tutoring and homework assistance, age appropriate toys, yoga, meditation and we encourage healthy play and social interactions.
Jamésa has over 20 years of experience mentoring and assisting children in educational and recreational settings and is currently working to achieve her doctorate in child psychology.
