Childcare - Infant/Toddler, Leetsdale/Monaco (SE Denver).
Currently interviewing for a September opening in my licensed childcare home. Specialty license in infant/toddler care, which limits me to a maximum of 4 children in care, insuring more individual attention for your child. I am not just doing child care to be home with my own children, as my children are grown and out on their own. I offer quality care to a few families, openings are not available very often and fill up quickly, so please contact me now. It is a 'family-style', natural learning environment, not structured/center-based, more along the Montessori philosophy. I teach sign language to the child starting around 6 months, which aids in language development and cognitive skills, and eliminates the child's frustration while learning vocal skills, and will assist the parents with learning the signs that the child is learning/using. Most of my full-time children have advanced language skills when they graduate to pre-school. I offer organic and homemade meals. Also, you will receive in-depth daily notes of the child's day, naps, meals, etc, and television is never on in my home during childcare hours. I have cared for well over 50 children. My home is specifically geared to the infant/toddler. I offer excellent references, and have cared for twins, and subsequent children (siblings) for many families. My home is time-tested for safety with the little ones, and offers large indoor areas and a wonderful outside area for play. I have 30+ yrs of experience and have cared for over 60 children.
