"My husband and I have an English Bulldog, Sundae, who is the light of our lives. In addition to this, we are also a foster home for the Chicago English Bulldog rescue, and more often than not, our Sundae has a "roommate".
We live in Plainfield, my husband works north of the city, and in January I took a new job that would require me to be away from home much more than before. So, we decided to start looking for a dog walker who would let out our four-legged kiddos at lunch during the workweek. We looked at many different local options, but none of them seemed like quite the right fit. We didn't want a large company, with several different people who we didn't know coming in and out of our house and being around our dog. It was too impersonal, and we adore our dog and won't entrust her to anyone we don't feel completely comfortable with. After a lot of searching, we found the Pawfect Retreat. Dave and Vicki came over to meet us and our dog, and we knew it was a perfect match. They are extremely nice, flexible and it was immediately obvious that they love animals and would take just as much care of our dog as we would ourselves. (and Sundae and our foster dogs love them! Each day that they come to let them out, they give them lots of attention and love, and even leave us a note saying when they were here and what each of our dogs was up to while we were away at work. It's wonderful. We love the Pawfect Retreat, and so do our dogs! (the cat, too). We would strongly recommend them to anyone!!!"

"The Pawfect Retreat is the best. Dave and Vicki are reliable, prompt, personable and accommodating. They have walked my dog Zoe (who absolutely loves them) for two years now, as well as babysat her for special weekend occasions. I also have a cat Abby who does not need to be walked, but demands her own attention just the same so they give her a snack and lots of pets and kisses. Dave and Vicki never fail to leave me a note with details of dog and cat antics for the day so I know exactly what went on. I highly recommend The Pawfect Retreat for all your pet needs."
