The P.l.a.y Place (play, Learn, Arts And Crafts, For Young Ones)

Hi! I am a loving, active and patient stay at home mom and have been helping other families with Child Care for many years. I offer Child Care from my home Mon-Fri from 7:00 a.m- 6:00 p.m. I can do full or part time and even on call during these hours. I have a deep passion for children and I have done some schooling for Early and Middle Childhood Education. I have spent some time in a daycare as well as classrooms observing and volunteering. I have 4 children of my own ages 19, 17, 7, and 5. I really enjoy spending time with children and I believe that all children are unique and socialize, play, and interact differently. I am extremely patient and have dealt with many children with different temperaments. I accommodate for each child's particular needs and am flexible with nap times and meals. I strongly believe in creative play and have a 15 x 20 playroom with an assortment of toys from educational and pretend play. I have materials that support fine motor skills such as arts and crafts, a variety of hard back books, block building, puzzles, coloring, painting, and a small indoor water/sensory table. I like to incorporate different things to help kids learn through play. The kids have access to large muscle play indoors during the cold or rainy weather with crawl through tunnels, tent, small indoor climber, balls and music. I have a swing set, tire swing, tether ball, sand/water table and sand box outside for the days we can go out. We like to dance and I have an assortment of music that we listen to from kids' Silly Songs and Kids' Bible Songs. I provide a safe, clean and comfortable place for you to feel confident in leaving your little ones. We play and dance in the play room, have meals and snacks in the dining room, naps in the bedroom and relax and watch movies in the living room. I have supplies to support little ones such as play pen, high chair, jumper, bouncy seat, booster seat for the table and potty seat converter. You can rest assured that your child will be well-cared for and treated like one of my own! I have taken an online first aid class and have over 20 years of experience with kids. I will offer a home away from home for your little gems.
