We are Senior Living apartments in a small town less than 900. Though our town of Oakland, IL, is small, we have so much to offer.Our town Oakland has a very nice golf course, public swimming pool, several parks, including a State Park, Walnut Point, just 5 miles outside of town. Oakland also has a family owned grocery store, Family Dollar, Casey's, Senior Center, Library, Medical clinic, bank, post office, Insurance business, several churches, Police, Fire, & Ambulance services, Carpet & Furniture Store,Beauticians, several historical buildings, Birkey's, Crop Production, & a community that is a family all it's own. We take care of our people! Our 13 PRIVATE apartments are all on one floor. Each apartment has its own private bathroom/shower, kitchenette, microwave, fridge, closets, bedroom, individual heat/air, emergency pull cords in every room, very nice and clean facility. We provide 24 hour staffing, made-from-scratch homemade meals (the best around),weekly individual laundry service, weekly housekeeping, lots of fun crafts, activities, games, in house entertainment, field trips, lunch outings, ice cream outings, fun town & community events, golf cart rides and lots of love and compassion from our wonderful caring staff. We are a small facility for a reason. We want to know our residents, their names, their family, friends, likes, dislikes, etc, we are a big family! You are treated just like family here! We offer assistance to those who need it, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, walking, medication reminders, shopping, order medication, Pearman's delivers twice a week.
