The Nest

The Nest Home Day Care is a safe, nurturing, and encouraging atmosphere for children 6 weeks through 5 years old. My goal is to provide a stimulating and fun environment for children while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. Your child will receive quality personal and individualized care in a warm and loving environment.

At The Nest, I believe that children learn best through play and exploration. Whether it is investigating the dirt box outside, playing fun games indoors, or spending time exploring books all on their own, I will help to facilitate activities that children enjoy. Special seasonal activities will also be a regular part of time spent at The Nest, including summer days playing in the sprinkler or plenty of fun in the snow in the winter!

I believe in positive reinforcement and redirection when children are testing the limits and learning the rules. I will provide a structured environment that is flexible enough to respect the child and their individuality while at the same time providing routine that children need to learn and flourish. And above all else, I believe that it is most important to treat children with love and respect.
