The Montessori House School offers children a remarkable learning experience based on Maria Montessori’s insights and materials. For children age 30 months through 6 years. We offer full-day program (M-F, 8:30-3:00) and half-day program (M-F, 8:30-12:00), both on a typical school schedule from September to June. Our classes have a student:teacher ratio of 10 or less. The school provides morning and afternoon snack, parents pack lunch. After care is available to 6 p.m. on school days. .......

For the school year starting September 2023, full-day program tuition is $23,400 and half-day program tuition is $14,900. We offer a 10% sibling discount if you enroll more than one child for the entire school year. .......

The Montessori House School is a member school of the American Montessori Society. Why is that important? Well, any school can call itself Montessori (no one “owns the name). A school may say “Montessori” on the outside, but parents don't know what's on the inside. In fact, many so-called “Montessori” schools are anything but! Our AMS membership lets parents know that we offer an authentic Montessori education and experience. .......

While the Montessori Method defines the classroom experience at The Montessori House in so many ways, we care deeply about your child’s total experience at school, and about your experience as a parent. .......

1) For children, we consider a warm, caring approach a top priority. With a low student:teacher ratio, our teachers can take the time needed to care for and guide each child -- without raised voices -- in class, at lunch, or on the playground. .......

2) We provide a safe environment for children, where “safe” is defined broadly. First, to ensure physical security, classrooms can only be accessed through two sets of locked doors,, with video monitors at our entrance and in our classrooms, along with an office staff to monitor visitors. Second, classrooms, toilets, and public areas are cleaned daily without harsh, commercial chemical products ensures a healthy learning place. .......

3) We offer children a rich set of experiences at school. We seek to expose children to real things – natural materials in the classroom; trees, flowers and wildlife in the playground; seasonal and exotic fresh fruits and vegetables for snack. The Montessori House is fortunate to welcome students from a wide variety of backgrounds. Beyond day-to-day peer interaction, children also participate in cultural activities led by parents in class or at one of our school festivals. .......

4) For parents, we are open and available. Our office is always open and staffed school days, ready to respond promptly to your questions or concerns-- by text, by email, by phone, or in person. Parents are welcome in the school at all times, and can observe each of our classrooms via closed-circuit TV. We want parents involved at school in ways that involve their children; opportunities include parent-led class activities, field trips, and school festivals. As we do for children, we seek to give parents a warm, caring experience at The Montessori House. .......
