The Maples Childcare

I provide childcare in my home where we focus on learning through positive interactions, some structured learning, and having fun too! I reinforce good behaviors and kindness toward others. I have 10+ years of experience working with children of varying ages. Some of my experience comes from raising my own six kids. I also provided babysitting for friends and family throughout the years, when needed.

I worked as a Para Educator in a preschool setting for 2 years, where I interacted with and supported children with special needs as well as those who were average developing.

My most recent experience was providing care for a little boy with Cystinosis who has a g-tube for all nutrition. He also received several medications daily. He was so much fun and such a joy! I stopped watching him when we moved away.

I am currently homeschooling my two youngest daughters and would love to provide care for one or two others who might need some homeschool help and support as well.

In our home, I provide opportunities to go outdoors and learn by play and exploration, where possible. I cook and bake on a regular basis and include the kids in that activity. I am willing to provide homework support as well. Meals and snacks can be negotiated into my hourly pay.
