The Little People Place

Hello! I am a family home daycare (The Little People Place) provider in the process of being licensed by the state of Wisconsin. I am 47 years old with B.A. and M.A. degrees and have extensive experience in the child care field including substitute teaching k-12, Sunday school teacher 3K- 12, and child care provider 6 months old - 12 years old. I was licensed in the state of Illinois for 8 years and have now opened in our new Wisconsin home for quality care for children ages 2 years old - 5 years old. I operate on a teacher's schedule which means I am closed 2 weeks at Christmas, 1 week for Spring break, and the summer months accept for a few "parent's day out" days. (Open a total of 9 1/2 months). I do not charge fees for these days of closure.

At The Little People Place I take pride in establishing relationships that build and maintain trust. My goal is to make you as a parent feel comfortable while your child is in my care. To do so I have created an atmosphere that allows your child to feel secure, accepted, and most of all loved. I offer healthy (organic as much as possible) meals and a creative play based learning environment.

I am married and a mother of 3 teenage children and 1 adult child. Our home is smoke & drug free with Christian values and vibrant activity! I do have 3 pets - 2 small dogs & a cat.
There is currently one child enrolled with 2 additional full time openings available. Upon licensing (expected around November 1st) I will have 3 more full time & 2 part-time openings available so please do not hesitate to call to be on my waiting list! You may visit and interview with me anytime beginning September 2nd in my Muskego WI home.

I am totally devoted to dramatic play, reading, games, outdoor fun, and learning through doing with the kids! I love being silly and animated and truly think of the families whom I provide care to as my extended family. I believe that every child is born with a purpose. As parents, guardians, and care givers we are entrusted by our Creator with these young lives to guide them to fulfill their potential.
