The Little House Family Child Care

The Little House Family Child Care focuses on letting children be children while also learning important life and social skills.I do not offer a preschool program, but the children will learn a lot in their time here. The will learn ow to be nice to those around them, how to drink out of a regular cup/glass, how to dress/undress themselves (which is a precursor to protty training), how to clean up after themselves, and so much more. Children will start earning things like colors, shapes, and numbers/letters wile playing, singing songs, or doing art projects. I strongly believe that children under 5 learn best through play and exploration.

The Little House specializes in the care of children from birth to age 3. All toys and activities provided are developmentally appropriate for this age group. Since toddlers are very active and need plenty of room/time to run, jump, climb, etc, we do a lot of movement activities and outside play through out the day. I created The little House as a home away form home for little ones. They spend their day in a home, not a classroom. I keep number small, there are never more than 4 children enrolled on any given day. Infants and toddlers require a lot of one on one attention. Keep my numbers small means that I can provide the best quality care I can.
