Hi, my name is Iris Tompkins and I operate a licensed, home based childcare/preschool program in Wellington (The Learning Circle of Wellington). I wanted to introduce myself in case you would be interested in a small group, very loving experienced teacher. I have weekly and daily rates available.
I have many years experience in childcare, and owned my own preschool in NY before relocating to Florida. I recently left a job as the Director for the Learning Experience in Boynton Beach. I decided to start a home based childcare because I missed working directly with the children and saw the need for small, loving, individual experiences, rather than the "big box" childcare that is available in Palm Beach County.
My first priority is safety and love, love, love. I feed the children healthy food and snacks, and juice regularly. This is a small group, home-based licensed program for children aged 18 months-5 years old. Philosophy: love and respect. Goal: to enrich and inspire, as well as introduce language and great literature, reading readiness, math, art and craft experiences, and more. I am CPR and First Aid certified. The program focuses on the whole child in a loving, nurturing, safe facility.
